This policy applies to the VisiResume website, account features, career tools, payments, referrals, support, and connected service providers. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
Information we collect
Name, email address, password status, verification status, login records, profile details, and communication preferences.
Resume sections, CV versions, templates selected, cover letters, job descriptions, ATS reports, LinkedIn content, and interview preparation notes.
Purchases, payment references, product activation status, AI credit usage, referral codes, commissions, withdrawal requests, and payout details where required.
Device, browser, IP address, usage events, error reports, support messages, uploaded attachments, and security audit records.
How we use information
- Provide resume builder, template, cover letter, ATS checker, AI, interview, and referral features.
- Save user progress, resume versions, downloads, support requests, and account preferences.
- Process payments, activate products, manage AI credits, track referrals, and support withdrawals.
- Improve platform quality through analytics, bug reports, fraud checks, and product usage insights.
- Send account, security, payment, product, support, and service-related notifications.
AI tools and career content
VisiResume AI features may process resume text, job descriptions, cover letter inputs, LinkedIn drafts, and interview preparation prompts to generate suggestions. Avoid entering sensitive information that is not needed for a job application.
AI prompts, outputs, credit usage, and related error records may be retained when needed for delivery, billing, support, security, and abuse prevention. Avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.
Sharing and service providers
VisiResume may use trusted providers for hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, support, document export, fraud prevention, and AI processing. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their role.
VisiResume does not sell resume content. Providers, cross-border processing, and user rights are governed by the laws of the countries where the platform operates.
Security and retention
Account protection
Passwords are hashed, sessions are protected, and verification is required for sensitive actions.
Transaction records
Deposit Wallet funding, purchases, credit restorations, referrals, and withdrawals need audit records for security and support. Deposit Wallet balances remain subject to the non-refundable, non-cash-redeemable policy in the Terms and Conditions.
Retention
Records are kept only as long as needed for service delivery, legal obligations, audits, or dispute handling.
Your choices
Access and update
Use your account to update profile details, resume content, payout details, and saved career materials. Contact support when a requested change cannot be completed from the account.
Delete or export
You can request deletion or export of account data through Help Center support. Include the email on the account and whether you need an export, a deletion, or both. Requests are handled subject to transaction, security, and legal retention requirements.
Self-serve bulk export and one-click account erasure are not available in the member dashboard yet; support remains the operable path for data-subject requests.
Marketing choices
You can opt out of optional marketing while still receiving important account, payment, security, and service messages.
